Needle Felted Landscape

In this two-hour session, sponsored by Springville Center for the Arts, Ellen will guide participants through creating an image of a landscape suitable for framing using naturally dyed wool as your “paint”. Students will learn the basics of needle felting as we blend colors, layer directly on to a flat surface or create a pre-felted piece to transfer to the canvas.  All materials are provided including a piece of handcrafted felt as “canvas”, natural dyed wool for felting, felting needles, and felting base. Ideas and inspiration will also be provided if needed.
